Dr. Michele Girduckis
Chiropractor, Traditional Chinese Medicine Registered Acupuncturist
Dr. Michele Girduckis has been caring for patients of all ages since 1993. She graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a certificate in Acupuncture. She moved to Ontario after graduating and started practicing in Picton. In 2007 she moved her practice to Belleville and Madoc and has practiced in those communities ever since. In 2017, she passed the Canadian exams to become a Traditional Chinese Medicine Registered Acupuncturist.
Dr. Michele uses her skills as an experienced chiropractor and acupuncturist to relieve pain, restore function and improve overall health to the whole person. She creates a treatment plan specifically for each individual which can include chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, physiotherapy modalities, exercises, and lifestyle recommendations. Dr. Michele believes that everyone is unique, with his or her own special considerations. She patiently works with each individual to determine the right treatment options.
On a personal note, she’s a mom of three and continues to stay active and healthy. She enjoys running, playing soccer and golf, and watching her boys play hockey.
Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Stephanie has been working in the Madoc area as a Registered Massage Therapist since late 2016. Prior to that she practiced in Belleville for 8 years. She received her Massage Therapy diploma in 2008 from Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario. Growing up in Belleville she knew she wanted to come back to the area and help rehabilitate people through manual manipulation of the muscle tissue.
She now resides in Tweed, Ontario and enjoys working alongside her husband and their three children on their farm.
Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Dawn graduated from the program of Massage Therapy at the Sutherland-Chan Teaching School and Clinic and has been a Registered Massage Therapist in the province of Ontario since 2003.
For twelve years she had her own practice in Madoc and then for the next four years in Bancroft where she currently lives. Dawn’s experience is that people seek out Massage therapy because they are in pain. People now understand that their bodies will compensate for repetitive actions, poor mechanics and less than ideal working conditions that then leaves them with compromised muscles and undo stress. Much of this pain and discomfort can be resolved with Massage Therapy.
Linda is the office manager in both the Madoc and Belleville clinic and has worked with Dr Girduckis since 2001. She enjoys meeting people and is always there to help with patient needs and schedules. She is very knowledgeable on extended health claims, MVA, DVA and WSIB claims.
Linda lives on a farm in Madoc with her husband Ted and their pets which are her passion.
Chiropractic is a conservative form of healthcare that focuses on the spine and other joints of the body. The word “chiropractic” means “to be done by hand”. Chiropractors use adjustments to restore function and mobility to the joints, relieve pain and prevent chronic or recurrent conditions. A chiropractic adjustment is a safe, controlled force applied to a joint.
Acupuncture is the practice of inserting thin needles into the skin at specific points on the body in order to reduce pain, restore balance and improve overall health. These points can be pain, or Ashi points; or they can be specific points along channels in the body. Traditional Chinese Medicine describes acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy, or qi (pronounced “chee”), that runs through the body along these specific channels or meridians.
We offer direct billing for most insurance companies and accept DVA, MVA and WSIB claims.
